I checked out the suggested wikis - here goes:
- BCL Programming wiki - What a great idea with much growth potential. It's so helpful to find out what works and what doesn't in programming initiatives. It is a work in progress and accolades to Gina for getting it started. The "construction" phase is probably still addressing the "African American Genealogy" link that goes to Google Sites, and the Adult's Program Index that links to the long list of both adult and children's programs, but it is certainly a great beginning!
- Book Lover's Wiki - a bit disappointing; same books under most categories. Looks like they lost interest or it was just too hard to keep going. A wiki requires a LOT of work and continued time commitment, as seen first-hand here.
- Bull Run Library Wiki - now this one is nice! I especially liked the digital bookmobile podcast. Can BCL look into OverDrive?! It would be a tremendous hit with our Sun City residents who deplore the trek to Bluffton Library.
- Library Success Wiki - I really liked this wiki, especially the Readers Advisory section - this is a God-send for book discussion groups!
